Profile

Born in London into a musical family Sarah E. Hudson began violin and piano lessons as a young child. After winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music as a Junior Exhibitioner she attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she graduated in instrumental performance, writing film scores, orchestral arrangements and the study of past and present compositional techniques.

She now enjoys working with different genres of composition: songs for children, musicals, Christmas carols for choir and solo voice, instrumental pieces and arranging orchestral scores for her works. Many of these have been publicly performed by her pupils at school concerts and other venues.
